I have heard about the WikiLeaks buzz, of course, who hasn't really...?

However, not being much of a political person, I don't follow it all too closely. I do feel the government is in the wrong but then again I never really had much respect for government, let alone the one in the USofA.

Seems lately the whole country is going to shit and not too many people really care, and the ones that do care do nothing. For those who do care and are trying to do something about it, what have they achieved?

Doesn't seem like much is being DONE about it. Most people hear about it and just go 'Hmm, oh well, the game is on. I'ma watch that."

Too many distractions to keep people from actually acting and setting things right. The things the government has gotten away with, and is still getting away with... they just don't see the general population as a threat.

As long as people have their cell phones, gaming consoles, TV crime dramas, and a beer in their hand... itsallgood.
I guess it takes a firm belief in the invisible magician to properly sell a gun online. Who knew?-Shawna

You see it from the eyes of the common man. Unfortunately, it is somewhat of a generalization, and off-target. The real problem is corruption. We Americans seem to think our nation has little corruption as compared to Socialist countries, but this is untrue, a lie told by the press to appease us. The real truth is we're all about the same corrupt. The only real difference between us and the socialist countries is they can just do it more blatantly, we have to hide it more. (Our) political figures are all about wealth and money, that's all that matters to them. And no one can do any thing about it, bc they are too powerful and can take any one down that threatens their "interests" or schemes. Judges are in these positions too. That's why ppls just 'have another beer,' they know they cannot make a major diff. Hell, even the ones that do often find that it did not make the positive diff they intended, or it had a very bad side effect. Damn, I hate it. Getting me all riled up here, I gotta go get a beer.

Not sure if anyone ever mentioned it but the guy who leaked the info to wikileaks Bradley Manning is being held by the US at Quantico in 23 hour a day solitary confinement, prevented from exercise, has had his blankets, pillows and bedsheets stripped and must be routinely administered antidepressents to prevent permenant psychological damage. Treatment that has been condemned by several international organizations and nations to be torture.
dirty work... the right google key words...

I think it would be apt that Iraq invades the US in protest of how the nations dictators treat those who try to speak out and expose the truth.
One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know", Alice answered. "Then", said the cat, "It doesn't matter.”
