Wow, response to an old one here, but do you have a link or two to something that gives the most basic synopsis of the Libertarian viewpoint? More to the point, the style that you would associate with more? I know the basic tenants of the political leanings for it, but would like a synopsis that matches more what you particularly see in it so that any discussion we have on politics in which it becomes part of the conversation does not have me floundering with a given Libertarian view that you do not necessarily share. For example, a common misconception of Libertarians is that they are against any government. Not quite - that is anarchism. Libertarians often see a use for government, but in a greatly reduced role than it currently occupies.
